Featured Program Accomplishment: Street Food Feast Outreach

On March 7, 2026, the Rushayne Stewart Foundation Inc., in partnership with Bright-Rostrum Humanitarian Foundation, conducted a Prison Outreach & Hope Initiative at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Apapa, Lagos State, Nigeria.

The outreach was designed to provide encouragement, emotional support, and approved basic-needs assistance to incarcerated individuals while reinforcing the message that every person possesses value, dignity, and the capacity for positive change.

During the visit, Foundation representatives and volunteers engaged in meaningful discussions with more than 30 inmates, providing encouragement and creating opportunities for participants to openly discuss their experiences, challenges, concerns, and future aspirations. These interactions promoted emotional well-being and fostered a supportive environment focused on hope, rehabilitation, and personal growth.

In addition to the engagement sessions, approved support items were distributed to assist with personal hygiene and educational development. Distributed items included hygiene products such as bath soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, and washing soap, as well as educational materials including exercise books, pens, and pencils.

The outreach demonstrated the Foundation's commitment to serving often-overlooked populations through compassionate engagement and practical humanitarian assistance.
